Listening to music stimulates our brains and reduces stress. The goal is to give students opportunities to broaden their musical knowledge and let students meet others with similar interests and music tastes, and provide a judgment free zone to share music. Meetings consist of sharing different songs, bands and genres, and giving opinions. Knowing how to play an instrument is not required, however, this is also a space for students' bands to meet, compare work, and discuss venues. The American Music Club participates in promoting, organizing, and running the live music scene during Peace Week. Meetings are held in G102.

The Asian Student Association is a club dedicated to spreading Asian cultures and promoting diversity at NAHS. We do this through celebrating Asian identities and educating our members on them at our meetings so we can create a more inclusive environment at our school. Meetings are in room L200.

Aspiring Writer's Club is for those who love a good prompt. This club is in the same style of Power of the Pen. Students share prompt ideas, write and share their work. We meet in L202 every other Tuesday after school until 3:00pm.

In Books 4 Bright Futures, our goal is to collect and deliver children's books to underprivileged school libraries in Sri Lanka. Students attending these schools are working to learn the English language in order to expand their opportunities after graduation. Many libraries do not have these books, and we want to work to provide them. We will reach out to the community for donations as well as look for other sponsors to help us cover the cost of this mission and ultimately help us partner with as many libraries as possible. In being a part of this club, as far as time commitment goes, contribution simply means collecting books from across our community to exchange for service hours and credit.

Chess Club is devoted to playing and teaching chess from beginner to advanced levels. We have plenty of chess boards and often play online, so devices are encouraged. Our goal is to enjoy playing chess and increase our strategies to win games.

Our goal is to engage students with educational activities that give students the opportunity to explore aspects of Chinese culture that they may not have previously been exposed to. Both American and Chinese students are welcome to attend, as we wish to build relationships between students and foster community on campus.

Create a community dedicated to directly benefiting other communities around Columbus. Things we have done and plan to do again are holiday toy drives, food drives, etc. Also we will work with Neighborhood Bridges and work with Ronald McDonald House.

Culture Day is a community celebration of the diverse cultures represented at NAHS in the form of a showcase run and performed by Culture Day Club. The showcase typically takes place early in the second semester (January or February). The showcase includes singing, dancing, poetry, a fashion show, visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc), and so much more!

Feed the Need is a high school club dedicated to making meals for the homeless and less fortunate in our community. Members of the club have the opportunity to earn service hours through the school while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

The New Albany Fine Arts Club aims to spread appreciation for the visual, performing, and literary arts and increase access to arts education. French Club is intended for students to learn and explore French and francophone (French-speaking) cultures. Student leaders design meetings and activities based on current events, culinary traditions, holidays, film, art, and their own interests. This club is meant to replicate the global leadership summit program that the organization of EF provides students across the nation. In this club, groups of students will be faced with different topics each month, and are expected to brainstorm together ways to solve global conflicts. At the end of each month, each group will present their idea with an accompanying prototype(s) to the entire club. By the end of the club experience, students will have discovered a new way of thinking, perfected teamwork skills, and be more aware of conflicts happening in the world. This club also opens a lot of opportunity for senior project/ senior seminar ideas which any garde level can benefit from!

Handmade Hope club is a group dedicated to making handmade items for donations to various organizations in Columbus. In this group, we have a passion for creativity, service, and helping the community where we create items and crafts to help those in need. We work on a variety of projects throughout the year that range from smaller, short term projects to longer projects. The projects we do offer students the opportunity to learn new skills. However, all skill levels are welcome in our club no matter your experience with crafting. We meet two Fridays a month in J103.

Heads Up Mentors is a club which provides free mentoring to kids K-8 in core subjects, as well as standardized test help (ACT, SAT, PSAT) to high schoolers. As a member, you will be expected to mentor a student at least one day a week for about 6 consecutive weeks. Members will receive service hours for mentoring! The goal of this club is to provide opportunities to students who struggle with motivation for their academics.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), also known as Future Health Professionals, is a organization that prepares students interested in healthcare careers through hands-on learning, competitions, and leadership opportunities. Whether you dream of becoming a doctor, nurse, or researcher, HOSA gives a supportive community where you can work on important skills, communicate with peers and professionals, and make an impact on health-related issues. The NAHS linguistics club is a forum-based group that encourages thoughtful consideration and discussion and is a space for those interested in linguistics and language to meet and socialize in a relaxed environment.

A Welcoming Club for students of the Muslim faith, yet students of all faiths are encouraged to attend. Students teach one another about their unique cultures and their practices. Shared presentations help all students commune with one another about historical events, in-depth discussions on the teachings in the Quran, and the life of their prophet. Discussions are not "preachy," but rather they focus on a Muslim experience in their dualistic lifestyles while living in America and attending American Schools while also attending their Masjid on the weekends. Shared MSA experiences include bi-monthly meetings, seasonal Potluck meals, soccer games, and other games and activities. Students selected Mr. Arthurs as an advisor to the club because of his open-minded sensibility, agnostic views, tolerance and love for all humans, and belief in a positive school culture at NAHS.

The Red Cross Club is affiliated with Red Cross of America. The club meets via Google Meet approximately once per month to plan activities. Activities include multiple volunteer opportunities. Most years this involves a toy drive and assisting with a winter clothes drive. Our two major events we plan for are our blood drives. We host a blood drive in the fall and in the spring in the HS Cafeteria. Some years we also provide a scholarship to a Blood Club student based upon the success of our two blood drives.

The International Thespian Society (ITS) is an organization that recognizes, rewards, and encourages student achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre - performance and production. Our ITS troupe holds many events throughout the school year, including outings, service hour opportunities, and performances. Students are inducted into ITS and our troupe at our annual Thespian Banquet. Each student is honored on a national level and gains access to resources and opportunities beyond NAHS. As a member, your contribution and continious involvement is important as advocates for the theatre arts. The NAHS Wrongful Conviction club is focused on raising awareness for the many wrongful convictions that occur within the United States. We will learn about various causes that lead to wrongful conviction, promote awareness through our school, and raise money to help individuals who have been wrongfully convicted. This club will meet approximately twice a month before school, from 7:05 to 7:35 am in Middle School room 261.

Competitive Speech and Debate, we travel all over the state and compete against other schools with the goal of qualifiying for the state tournament. Students compete in the debate categories of Public Forum and Lincoln Douglas. There are also a variety of Speech categories. We meet at least once a week after school in the middle school, room 255 and competitions are on saturdays from October through March (not every Saturday). Students interested in debate should be strong writers and researchers, have an interest in current events and like to think strategically. Students interested in debate are comfortable memorizing roughly 10 minute speeches. These speeches can be original, dramatic, humorous or can be writting by someone else. The expectation is team members will work outside of our meetings and preparing their cases, research and speeches.

NeuroAdvocacy Club is a student-led initiative dedicated to making a difference. Our mission is to advocate for patients with neurodegenerative disorders by raising awareness, educating the community, and fostering meaningful connections between students and affected individuals through volunteer efforts. To achieve this goal, the club will host bi-monthly (twice a month) meetings on Tuesdays after school, where members will learn about neurodegenerative disorders, preventative measures, and healthy living. These meetings will also serve as briefings for the volunteer opportunities available during the month.

Newbilee is a club focused on expanding students' beliefs and ideas on social situations by conducting fun games and discussions. Join us at Newbilee where we recreate popular Jubilee video ideas like Odd One Out, Middle Ground, Split Decision, etc, with prizes for the winners. But here's the twist: you will be the stars! Meetings are held every other Thursday from 2:30pm-3:30pm in L200. We'll come together to create our own demonstrations and analyses.
