On Saturday, May 16, 2026 members of the New Albany High School Rocketry team competed in the national finals near Washington DC. This is the third year out of the last four that they have qualified.

The environmental club, led by students Maggie Hill, Matthew Kirkham, and Noelle Griffith and advisors Chad Schwinnen and Pete Barnes, was granted $1,800 by the Columbus Zoo.

The Board of Education held a Special Meeting on May 14, 2026 in the4 NAPLS Annex. Board President John McClelland presented to the community the search process for the next Superintendent at NAPLS.
